"Ruby Slippers and Ballet shoes" by Bradley Shawn Rabon
During a recent visit to our lovely friends home in Painswick, Gloucestershire, in England, I was asked to photograph some of the rooms for our friends as they were preparing to move back to the States after nearly 5 years here. We enjoyed so much our stays with them and will miss it greatly. I love this old cottage in which they lived. This shot is of their daughters room who is now away at a college in West Texas. Our little girl stayed in this lovely room and was intrigued with the collection of books and of course the shoes. My daughter loves ballet and enjoyed the pair hanging on the wall, as well as the glittering ruby shoes sitting comfortably on the dresser. I thought this to be a lovely image which shows the collection of memories and treasures that their daughter has collected over the years.

Slight adjustments in lighting and tone were done using the enhanced details tool.
