Whilst out walking in St Aubin village which is part of St. Brelade’s parish, I came across this lovely cottage which is very typical for Jersey. These granite built homes are lovely and warm feeling. They are often ones that have been around fro some time, and perhaps have be restored and modernised but keeping their rural country feel. The one thing that leads me to believe that his is an older property is the worn gravel and grass path which looks well worn and the age old tree growing in the front garden. This cottage has been here a while, but has probably been fixed up and made more modern. I can imaging this home in the 18th and 19th century, with a horse and cart out n front. A lovely, nostalgic feel.
