I have always been one for tradition, so just before mine and my wife’s 11th anniversary, I began looking for something ‘steel’ and I wanted to avoid the same old things such as knives (obviously you understand that) and silverware, picture frames, etc… I decided to look in an antique store of whom I know the owners. After some time looking, I found these beautiful napkin rings in the shape of apples, set in a beautifully crafted steel basket. This gift now sits on the window sill in our dining room where we use them on special occasions. I took this shot one morning with the light coming through the window creating this delicate composition. I thought this might make a good anniversary card photo.
