"Frozen" by Bradley Shawn Rabon

The Derbyshire countryside is dotted with old barn houses like this one. I found this one hidden away in the tall brush along the Sir William Hill road that runs along top of the cliffs that look over the villages of Eyam and Foolow, and looks out over Hope Valley. I make frequent trips around this area to capture it in different weathers. One wintery morning, as I was driving into the area, the cold freezing fog got very thick and all the houses and trees were frosted over. It was a wonderful effect and I got this wonderful shot along with many others in the Peak District that day.

Primarily a landscape photographer, my enjoyment of taking photos has developed from a young age. Originally from Texas, I now live in England and am surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery. I enjoy outdoor activities such as climbing, hiking, and camping. I am blessed with a wonderful wife and three terrific children. I am a strong Christian and I believe that my love of photography and any talent I posses in capturing images comes from God.
