Thank you greatly my friend. I love the flowers as well. A bit of a cheat…. the flowers in the foreground are next door’s. I just used the perspective to add interest in the foreground. The combination of colours works so well. I really appreciate the compliment.

Thank you greatly for the brilliant compliment. Our friends, as does myself, come from the States, so I do know what you mean, but I can assure you that they are completely up to date inside but still keeping the charm of the past. They are required by council standards to keep up to modernisation and health and safety. There will always be work that needs to be done though… that is the nature of progress. These are listed buildings so any additions to the property have to be passed by council. The electrical and water are all modern (so to speak). It is beautiful inside as well. I will be putting a few of my inside shots up of some of the bedrooms.
