"Sun Bathing in the Autumn Light"

Whilst on a family outing with some friends at Ripley Castle, we decided to go for a walk in the gardens and the adjoining woods. Watching our children run free and exploring everything around them, I noticed my middle boy stop and concentrate on the bushes that line the dirt path. I quickly caught up to him. Whilst approaching where he is, he said, “Look Daddy, a dragon!” There in front of us as still as could be was this dragonfly. I quickly got a couple of shots, after franticly trying to set my camera to the right settings. i am quite proud of this shot. That is a leaf which he is sitting on, so you can see the size of the mystical creature. This photo is straight from the camera. It’s ‘AS IS.’
