This is about poems and things,
That roll off the tongue with a zing,
Usually with a most delightful ring,
And with a rhythm that makes you sing,
Finding your fingers are snapping with glee,
As you wonder ‘What is happening to me?”
It’s can also be about songs, both short or long,
Whether they are silly rhyming ones,
Or ones that cut straight to the heart,
They have got to make a mouth smile,
You know, like Rhyme for a while,
If they want to do their part,
And not stink like a big ol’ fart.
From young fools to old school,
They all follow the same rules,
Since the beginning of the world,
These things have got to twirl,
Like the love of a first thrill,
Or a kiss between that boy and girl,
It’s got to be felt all the way down to your toes.
So here I go, weaving words to and fro,
Trying my best to make them flow,
They just go together you know.

This one’s just for fun, plain and simple. Enjoy and hopefully laugh once or twice.
