I build websites to keep my brain ticking over…

For cameras, I started with a gift from my gran, which got me interested but produced very poor quality images. Next I was bought a Russian Zenith E SLR camera with lots of accessories and lenses. This was great to play around with, but due to the poor metering, was very hit and miss on exposures. I then took a backward step (perhaps) to an Olympus XA4 compact camera. This took great pictures for its price and the wideangle lens was good for landscapes. I liked this camera a lot. It drowned on Oahu, nearly taking me with it. Then a Minolta SLR, and then onto Nikon film SLRs, which is where I’m at now. With few Nikon film cameras being made now, I expect my next SLR will be digital, but I’m not exactly waiting with baited breath.
