Albert Einstein said, “I believe in intuition and inspiration… At times I feel certain I am right while not knowing the reason.” Similarly, for me, inspiration for the creative process comes intuitively. I see possible photographs all the time, where ever I go. Hopefully I have my camera with me to capture and share these visions. I tend to think that I can find the beauty in the obvious, but also the obscure as well.

I also do freelance graphic design and I feel I am also guided in this form of creative expression as well. Recently, I was the co-owner, co-publisher and art director for Balanced Living Magazine, a holistic-living publication distributed in the Northeast Ohio area. As one of the co-founders, I helped to develop the look and content of the magazine. From 2003 until January 2008, when we sold the magazine. I created all the layouts, many of the ad designs and some of the photography (particularly the covers).
