10-5-12 How I Spent My Birthday Morning – Even though it was my birthday, I didn’t have to force myself to pack up my camera and paddle down the lake in an attempt to get some shots while the wind remained calm and the sun’s rays illuminated the Autumn shoreline at an acute angle. It wasn’t long after I took this photo that the clouds thickened and the winds strengthened creating white caps on Lake Ozonia. By the sound of a heavy rain on my metal roof this morning and all of the leaves covering my yard, Pelk was fortunate not to take his birthday off from work. LOL I was the only one on the water most of yesterday morning…can you imagine that? I hated to leave. Was that a pun?
