Rain and overcast all day long….then cloud cover thinned just in time for a whale of a sunset.

This photo was taken within the Adirondack State Park in Upstate, NY.

Cool shot! It’s beautiful! Super nice work!

  • Thank you, Tammy. I promised to take a young boy fishing today..and it is pouring rain. I just don’t have the heart to tell him we will have to wait for another day…hopefully his parents will do that.

That is a clever title for this photo…Moby Dick trying to swallow up the sun…eeekks…dark days ahead!!! Great photo Brian

  • We have already been getting our fair share of dark days….this guy better watch out..I’m much tougher than Capt. Ahab!! Ha,Ha.

Very cool! What a great capture, Brian. And we have yet another rainy and overcast day. The wee lad will be disappointed, but I’m sure he’ll understand.

  • You have forgotten my friend…there is no “understanding” in a young boy’s heart when it comes to trout fishing…..or is that video games?? LOL The rain has stopped here…now only if the lawn would stop growing too!!!
    Thanks, Mike.

OH! Good…I’m glad to hear that…cause if you don’t take care of Moby Dick…I will…we need better days …it is a great photo!!! L (What’s going with New England weather anyway? Did we get cursed somehow? :-\

  • I keep falling into that same line of thought..then someone tells me about 100 plus temps, or no rain (what’s that??), or tornados, etc. Makes me think….cold and rainy….not so bad…like living in Seattle for a change..Ha,Ha. Thanks, Lorraine.
