Actually, this shouldn’t be a resolution that difficult to keep if it wasn’t for travel time. Experience has taught me that on 95% of the ponds once the morning sun is up over the horizon and its rays are both illuminating and warming the upper layers of water, I might as well pack up the fly rod and head for home. They just won’t be biting.
And you thought my resolution was going to start with “Pink Sky In Morning……..” LOL Those aren’t stars you see in this photo, just spray from one of the finest freshwater sport fish in the world…the rainbow trout. Please practice catch and release.
