Between these flip flops and that 7 up can you made so good looking, just goes to show if you tweak the speed and aperture the right way, you can make even simple objects look great.

There I was thinking that thongs were uniquely Australian! I’ve learnt something: flip flops.
When Dutch people come out here (down under) they call them slippers and I go through the routine of explaining that slippers , here, are not worn to the beach.

I love this b/c exactly what you said, it’s a “true” picture, nothing moved. I am not a photographer, but when I do want to capture something by taking a photo it is how I found it.

This is great. So evocative. We call them jandals in New Zealand and as this is the best summer in memory, I wear mine all the time. Great shot.
