From a pack trip with my mom and our two llamas Diamond and Carmella. Diamond is “mine” (although I can’t bring her to school with me so mostly my mom works with her) and is a trooper when the going gets rough.

Llamas are so dear to my heart. Growing up among them in Argentina, they remain one of the fondest memories of my childhood. Diamond is very pretty.

I had to favorite this. I used to own an Alpaca who gave me so much joy. I only have some not so good pics and a handful of fibre as my ex Hus gave it away and sold all the fibre. Not even a jumper….
You are so lucky they are magnificent creatures. Do you get the spitting bit all the time. I used to. Monty hardly ever spat and if he did it takes such a long time to get up the neck that they miss the target. He saved many lambs from dogs and foxes and even our house from a burgular- I wish I’d seen his face! Guard Alpaca!
