This is just one of hundreds of flying foxes that have made the Royal Botanic Garden there home. They have become such a problem that they are trying to find ways to get rid of them as they are destroying the trees.

I also have a love of the history of my surrounding suburbs, especially Parramatta as it was the first convict settlement of Australia.
