morning glories bloom
through the crush
of budding spring leaves -
too soft to notice.
winter’s hush weaves its
icy lattice into pine boughs
on cool moonless nights -
without so much as a whisper.
smooth wandering lips
caress your lascivious flesh
in my restless dreams -
quiet as you please.
constellations settle
and fall away to starlit
traces of clear summer sunrise -
galaxies collide in silence.
