Pambula Headland by Josh Boucher

Pambula Headland by

I took this shot while on an Easter camping trip with my family. I recently bought a Hoya HMC NDx400 and I really got to test it out.

I used AEB @ -2, 0, +2 in camera and captured three shots. I ended up using two shots, 1 exposure for the sky and the other for the water and rocks. I just used a layer mask in photoshop and painted in the sky.

I had my 5D and 17-40L on my tripod, set up the shot and then put the NDx400 on. I also used a cable release to further prevent camera shake.
