Letting Go
With tentative fingers
I release my grasp
One tired finger at a time
Like a child
I open my clutched hand
Feeling it slip away
Filling me with apprehension and delight
Floating high and away
My dreams it carries
Till I can see them no longer
With faith…
I continue on
dreaming…
