Crvanj mountain is located in south-east part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, surrounded by Nevesinjsko field (Nevesinjsko polje) from the south and Neretva River from the north and north-east. The highest summit of Crvanj is called Zimomor (meanings the hill of winter sunset) with altitude 1920 m above sea level. Northern and N-E side of the mountain are under beech forests.
