This “Icy Chandelier” is actually part of destroyed chair lift mechanism built for alpine skiing. Chair lift is used for downhill – Olympic Winter Games – Sarajevo 1984. This is the only chair lift still out of use. All others are repaired and Bjelasnica is again popular tourist attraction for hiking and skiing.
Nedim- what a great find- so well seen- this is so crisp and brilliantly true in color- and so immediately recognizable as a Nedim Bosnic shot!!!! Makes me go Brrrrrrrrrrrrr…and worry a little what am I in for this Winter!!??? I love the rust also seeping through the ice…really nice work.

Such clear and deep colors…What a blue sky! Looks so pure and clean. Why was this chairlift not repaired? Was there a reason? Perhaps it was ledt so that you would have a chance to take a photograph…!!…Anyway,,,You have made a great image. Liz
