Star of Hope (Dedicated to all who have lost a loved one)by Georgia Wild
“In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing.” ~ Robert Ingersoll.
“Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” ~Author Unknown
Today, my elder son’s best friend (in his early thirties) passed away suddenly. Everyone who knew this gentle soul is in shock, trying to make sense of that which makes no sense.
I dedicate this piece to everyone who is experiencing or who has experienced grief. May you find peace and comfort through the precious, treasured memories of your loved one.
Created in Apophysis with the Oily Tutorial by Raemed on DA. The starting parameters for this piece were kindly prepared and provided by my dear friend, Carolyn Staut (Abstract Joys).
Hope seems interwoven throughout this piece. Lovely Georgia
Heartfelt thanks to you, Carolyn, for providing the starting params for this piece. I so appreciate your kindness in doing so. I am going to share it with Brandon.
First I want to send my condolences to both you and your son. I know the suffering from a tragic and sudden loss and I hope they can provide you with more information. It will still be hard but at least there can be closure…. then you take it one day at a time. This piece of work is truly a superb piece Georgia. You can feel the love and hope from the design and shape of the piece itself. And although it’s a dedication to lives lost, the colors in there put a smile on your face and show you that no matter what, there is always hope. hugs
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Jackie. Your kind words make al the difference at this difficult time. We found out that Ed died of a heart attack. Only 33 years old and no diagnosed heart issues.
I am so sorry to hear of the death of your son’s friend……my condolences to all….there is no rhyme or reason to life’s tragedies……may the sadness fade and happy memories blossom…..
Thank you kindly, Pam. Your kindness is much appreciated
