This design was requested by a jazz rap band called 2High2Jazz from São Paulo, Brasil, who were looking for a new logo for their band. It is roughly inspired by another of my designs called “Jazz Skull”, which was the design that caught the band’s eye in the first place.
Anyway, all I can say about these guys is that they’re awesome. Honestly. No bias here just because I designed something for them. Even if you don’t like rap, like myself usually to be honest, you can’t help but bop your head to this. It’s got real life to it like you expect from jazz or funk, but it also has an urban coolness given to it by the rap. I highly recommend these guys’ music to anyone who is into rap, jazz, or just just looking for something different.

What can I say about the design though? Actually I’m pretty happy with it. I’d say it’s probably one of my best designs so far, but I’ll leave you guys to be the judges of that.
