Once there was a journalist who found a new love when his newspaper bought a couple of Nikon D70 camera bodies.
Such was the intrigue created, this professional writer bought a digital SLR of his own and set out to learn its inner secrets.
While far from accomplished, I have certainly found a hobby which is useful in my work and, even more imortantly, something I simply love to do. There is little more rewarding than taking a shot and looking at it later to see what could have been done differently. Many, in fact most, of my shots are far from what I intended… but sometimes I get that perfect everything and occasionally it was no fluke. Success.
I am driven by my daughter, Gabriella, born March 15, 2007, my wife Kate, cats Squeek and Pushka – the four of whom consist my entire world.
