I was wondering Aaron if you use photos as a reference with your portraits. Some look like they may have whereas others look drawn from scratch.

Yeah, I do for some.

Some of my earlier ones [like this] aren’t very different to the original photo, but these days I only use reference pics as ideas for poses etc.
