Ok, so we all know how the bubble works by now, but here are a few things that I think would make it even better:
Recent activity page
This page would be linked from your ‘my bubble’ page and list recent comments, favs and maybe sales on your images [and journal posts]. At the moment, someone could ask you a question about one of your works and you’d never see it, unless you checked every image in your portfolio.
Changing the Watchlist
Why when I click on watchlist does it list the people I’m watching rather than their work? IMHO it should list new images and journal posts from the people on your list. That way you dont have to go through your each person’s bubble to see who’s added something new.
Both of these first two changes encourage frequent return visits. At the moment you have to manually hunt for new content and feedback on your work. This is my only real issue with RB.
Best Sellers
This would be another section on the gallery page listing the items that have sold the most in the past month[or week or whatever]. Ideally it would show a random selection of the top 100 best selling items.
I’m not trying to be mean, but out of all the content on RB, only about 10% [i imagine] actually has a chance of ever being printed. The best sellers section highlights the cream of the RB crop, and would be the first stop for people who are here to buy prints and not just browse.
Image Replace
I’ve suggested this already, but the ability to replace images with new versions would have been really handy when I wanted to re-upload a bunch of works that weren’t at a suitable ratio for printing.
And that’s it. The first two items are semi-crucial imho, the 3rd and 4th are a ‘very nice to haves’.

I’m happy to say that #1 (recent activity) is coming in the next release in early April, as is #3 (best sellers in the gallery). We’ll add the others to our ideas list & see what we can do.

Just on the image replacement request – With our next update we are expanding the range of aspect ratios we support to pretty much handle anything you can throw at it – So that should solve that problem.

I’ll be waiting for that next version for the expanded range of ratios. Pics I have that are scanned from the neg seem to have a problem at the moment. No biggie though, still happy to show ’em off.
Big agree with numbers 1 & 2. Looking forward to seeing number 1 start up.
Although in reality, once it does start up, I’ll probably only be wishing for the “old days”.

I’ve been thinking of this one too … just to make even more work for the guys, but it’d be great if one could keep track of conversations and things.
(or else I could just pay more attention to what I’m doing).
