Lullaby

I sang this to my daughter when she was a newborn baby, ZZZzzzZZZzzz

LULLABY

Hush my Sweet child,
do not shed yet, another tear,

Lay your tired head down upon me,
and rest those baby blue eyes,

Listen to me softly hum you a lullaby,
and sing you this soothing, special song,

While I cradle you in my open, loving arms,
and as I lay you down for a nap.
