This photo was taken on the Danube River 10-31-07 between Turnu Severin, Romania and Belgrade, Serbia. It’s the largest natural gorge (canyon) on the Danube. Before “The Iron Gates” were built it was a gigantic obstacle on both sides to navigate its pointed rocks and cliffs, surrounded with very wild yet attractive nature. This sculpture caught my attention as a beautiful work of art. I am very impressed with the carving, and hope you will enjoy it.
Speed 400, length 95mm, D2X camera, adjusted brightness and contrast, sharpened after Jpg.
Hi Gerald, I’m pleased you like Dragan Fecit. Take care, Bonnie

I am also impressed with this carving, Bonnie. And also, your fine image of this, the predominant tri colours of orange, grey and dull green present a fine scene.. These give a limited palette, which always has a good visual impact. Most of my paintings have that
What a great and interesting sculpture. And your photograph is so perfect with the coloured trees to give softness to the otherwise harsh environment. Well done.
Hi Dorothy, I truly appreciate your comments. When I went to mainland China a virus got on my portable hard-drive & all pics vanished, minus the 1 I uploaded to this site. Can you imagine a person doing this giant sculpture in the granite on the hugh cliff/mountain?? Take care, Bonnie

Yes it is an impressive sculpture! Thanks for tips and compliment; I’ll revisit most of my shots when I get around to buying some decent software :)
