Rannveig Ovrebo

I am originally from Norway, but moved to USA in 2005.
After I moved to USA i started to call myself Bonnie, but you can use my legal name “Rannveig” if you wants to.

I love to paint, I prefer using watercolor because it a very challenging type of paint. Most paint let you go back an repair if a mistake have occurs but the watercolor doesn’t forgive me. Once a mistake have occurred I have to start all over again, so i have to trust that I can paint the image over again if i have to. I also use pastel and charcoal to draw with because I feel that when it comes to certain images the watercolor just doesn’t gives me the right effect. I often can spend up to two months on a single painting before I am satisfied.

I love animals and nature and not surprising I often paint accaly that. But I have periods when I paint images displaying social problems we as a society goes through.

I have never taken any art classes, and i am proud of that. There isn’t any rules of what is a good or bad image. An true artist will know a good image by instinct.

Any thing else I can say about my self to make you understand who I am… well there is a Disney character that is were much like me. Her name is Tinker Bell.
