Bonnie … if you add ” marks around a keyword and then a colon and the URL address it will be a link :) Saves time. Text formatting below this box explains it all. I’ll take a look though.

I really like Catch My Drift and am listening to it as I type this. I saw the list of your influences and I’m afraid these are the only ones I am familiar with (still, not too bad for an old fogey, eh): Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey, Portishead, David Bowie, Thom Yorke, the Beatles, Bjork, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Carlos Santana, Radiohead, John Lee Hooker, Janis Joplin, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. I have seen Jom Morrison’s grave in Paris, seen Pink Floyd, Santana, Bob Dylan live at Newcastle Upon Tyne and our son saw PJ Harvey live at Edinburgh. I joined the Beatles Fan Club in 1964—guess that makes me an antique :P

Thanks for the link tip! I have a music addiction and am constantly seeking out new and interesting bands… I haven’t updated that list for some time now, but my favourite bands must number in the hundreds, and I have thousands of albums! Your seem to have a great taste in music, you should check out some of the other bands in my list too. I’m really glad you like my music too…
    Thanks ;)

Here’s one you’ll not have heard of: THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND. I have a dozen of their CDs on my shelf and also vinyl stuff. I have recently bought a vinyl deck so I can (slowly) copy vinyl into MP3 format. I’ve sent you some Bubblemails.

Actually yes, I am a big fan of The Incredible String Band. I think my favourite album of theirs is Wee Tam, and I love the song Ducks On A pond especially. Such beautifully complex song writing, and amazing lyrics…
I’ve also got their albums The Big Huge and The Hangman’s Beautiful Daughter.

You are the same age as our daughter (well, she’ll be 26 later this month) so I am amazed you have even heard of the I.S.B., never mind own two of their albums. I went to see Fairport Convention and Gerry Conway was drumming for them. After the concert I saw him in the foyer and in conversation I said, “You played drums on I.S.B.’s Liquie Acrobat As Regards the air, didn’t you” and with a smile he said, “I might have, but I can’t really remember” :) He did by the way. I only know about six people who like the I.S.B. and you are one of them :) I started listening tot heir music in 1974.
