It’s time to upgrade my computer. Right now, if I even ATTEMPT any digital artwork, the process of placing pen to paper would actually be more productive than what’s appearing on my screen. There goes another $400 down the drain! I need more RAM so I can at least open two programs instead of one – grrrr! And I need a new hard drive. Granted, 40GB has lasted over 10 years, so maybe two sizes up wouldn’t hurt.

I’m debating whether or not to do my latest commission in a traditional style like I did with my “Stealth” piece. All mechanical pencil. The only time I’d be using the computer for this is just to color. Blend and color. That’s it. All the shading and whatnot would be already done.

Ah, well. Back to mundane work… bla! The only good news I can give is this:

I’M SEEING THE DARK KNIGHT FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS EVENING!!!! WOO WEE!

Oh, and BTW, I’m now holding a copy of my novel. Yep. All bound and pertie. Just for editing purposes. BUT IT’S SOOO NICE! I wish it were real, like a real book that was for sale! One day (pants) calm down! One day I’ll get there. I just sent off a letter to an agent this morning. And stupid me! I forgot to add SASE (self-addressed-stamped-envelope). So I wrote them another one with a second wasted stamp! Damn those mail boxes that devour your letter and the only thing you can feel is hard metal surface when you reach in after realizing you screwed up!

So yea. Like I said before. The only good news from this is DARK KNIGHT. (Takes a deep breath)

I think I’m done venting now.
