James May says... by Matt Simner
A bit of silly fun for a mate who’s a die hard fan.
A simple homage to the (sometimes unintentional) comic genius of the underrated James May (AKA Captain Slow) from Top Gear fame.
This is most often said in his unmistakeable self-deprecating style at just the right moment to make you spit out your coffee as you see Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson doubled up in laughter at whatever’s gone wrong this time.
I tried to find a good example on the web, but the best I can find apart from this one, is an impression from some guy here :)
Contrary to popular belief (and at the risk of sounding like Captain Slow himself), he rarely says ‘Oh’ first – adding to the comic impact ;)
