Adobe Illustrator T-Shirt Template Download UPDATED (CS4)

Posted about 1 year ago

I thought it was about time I updated my original Illustrator template to look a little more like the current RB t-shirt preview, and also to get the complete set of current Americal Apparel colours for t-shirt backgrounds.

OK – so what’s in the template?

  1. The artboard is set to the standard 2400px X 3200px that we all know and love
  2. There’s a ‘design’ layer – re

Hold onto your linen - Google Analytics is here!!!

Posted about 1 year ago

I may be speaking out of turn (as I haven’t seen an official announcement yet), but I happen to have been informed that bubble stats goodness is now only a few clicks away ….

Seriously – as a seller I can’t tell you how huge this is!

OK – so not everyone will be excited by this, but for anyone who might’ve come across any of my attempts to harvest MyBubble stat…

2010 in Favourites

Posted over 1 year ago

This years’ been a quiet one for me on RedBubble, but it’s been busy and rewarding in lots of other ways. I just thought I’d pause for a moment and continue the tradition (I unanimously credit myself with starting last year) of a quick ‘show and tell’ of what I loved on RB in 2010.

If you’re not familiar with some of the artists …

Vinyl Wall Art that you already bought

Posted over 1 year ago

My wife has some great design ideas, and for the study in our new house she suggested that I display some of my old vinyl records – as I don’t play them much if at all any more.

Record covers were always a great medium to show the style of the artist, the time (especially the 80’s ones!) and also just a great excuse to do something crazy.

After a quick trip to IKEA, 3 RIBBA pict…

A competition win with a 'real' prize

Posted about 2 years ago

Haven’t been around these parts much lately, but thought I’d share one thing I’m really rather pleased about, particularly because it simply wouldn’t have happened without my involvement with RB.

My two girls go to a great rural school which received a cash injection to construct a new main building. This was recently completed, and to compliment the look of the new schoo…

Whoa!! - 5 evil spaceships

Posted about 2 years ago

I just want to say an astonished thanks! to the person who just bought 5 – Yes 5 of

Feeding time at evil headquarters

Now this is one of those designs that I really like, but has pretty selective appeal, so I’m just knocked out that someone’s gone and bought a job lot. Maybe there’s a James Bond convention coming up!? – or maybe they’re actually for a new arm…

Fender = gone

Posted over 2 years ago

I received a ‘your work’s been removed’ email earlier on, as Fender corporation sent RB a letter about copyright infringement on a number of works that RB obviously had to jump upon.

The design in question was a challenge entry some time ago involving a guitar going into a mincing machine (that actually did quite well) – but I hadn’t sold any – so hey..

Just a …

Design an official T-Shirt of the LA Marathon

Posted over 2 years ago

Here’s a pretty cool opportunity on 99 designs to create a design that could become an official LA Marathon t-shirt. Not masses of time left, but only 44 entries right now, so definitely a great challenge if you put in a bit of research on the brief. Might give it a shot…

2009 in Favourites

Posted over 2 years ago

Just thought I’d reflect (as one does at the end of the year) on what floated my boat in 2009. To all the artists – you rock! I’ll try and write a bit more about my favourites in 2010.

Happy New Year!
