Yes, I can understand that this image might evoke mythology and symbolism of ancient times. Perhaps the “classic” treatment tends to conduce the image in those directions. But these snakes do not have anything to do with immortality, or with the creation of myths, they are not guardians of the Underworld, nor are they associated in any way with gods; much less to do with infinite wisdom.
If we were dealing with the ascent of an artist, I wonder what roles will you assign to them.
