Oh Danilo, this looks like a sculpture, actually a sculpted figure in a shadow box. I can imagine this in exhibition! It’s stunning. I love the pose. And I see that this is a box within a box, as a hint of the foot and leg are peeking out of the 2nd box.

    Love it!

  • Ah, Frannie! Actually I twisted the original concept which only covered the figure in a single box in order to reinforce the idea that other figures have gone through the same thing. I´m glad you liked it. ThaNKS

I find the crushed figure under the center box fascinating. I’ll have to listen to the composition and do some more thinking on this … which makes this a great work. Love the orange to gray gradient and lighting as well.

  • Hi, Debi; your comment is much appreciated; thanks from the heart.

A truly remarkable composition in its message and the fine details. Kudos Danilo.

I haven’t listen for a good few years now to Carmina Burana, but now that you’ve mentioned it, I’ll look for the CD.

  • Wow, Vasile!!! Thanks a lot for your kind words as well as for this video contribution; I truely appreciate this.

Really, Danilo, I cannot tell you how taken I am with this piece. I love the concept of reinforcing how others have gone through the same. It’s a powerful piece.
