Wow! "Bonsai Wrath" has just won a Challenge!
What a huge surprise I´ve just had!
To say the truth, I´ve not been very enthusiastic regarding challenges lately. So I´ve been participating in some other challenges just for fun, and for the feeling of being part of a group, a community.
So it´s great news for me the fact that Bonsai Wrath was voted the most popular entry in the “The Art of Surrealism at its best…” challenge of the First Things Group. (OMG! Helene Ruiz, main host of the Surrealism Group is going to kill me, as far as I remember I never sent this image to my own group).
Well, that´s it. Just wanted to share with all of you this nice feeling.
Thanks a lot to the hosts of this incredibly energetic (First Things) group.

Creo que tienes una forma muy especial de “adentrarte en el mundo femenino”.
Y eso es bueno en un hombre.
Aunque últimamente veo a mujeres bonsai, mujeres medusas… mujeres con pendientes “sonajero”.... hay algo que te ocupa… preocupa….te fascina en las mujeres… sobre todo en su mente pensante? (ya se que contestarás que no puedes hacerlo sino está en frente tu abogado..) a mi me da igual… voy a seguir pensando lo mismo… y en cuanto a curiosidad… vale…tus trabajos hablan por ellos mismos…je,je,

Imagínate, Rosa, que el primer encargo que me dieron cuando empezaba como director de cine, fue el de hacer un documental sobre la liberación de la mujer. Honestamente, yo había crecido en un ambiente sumamente machista _ bueno, como el de casi todos nuestros países_ , y me dió tremenda lidia adentrarme en el tema. Pero, eso me marcó para siempre.
Es dificil sacudirse por completo del machismo, todavía se me sale por los poros, demasiado seguido, pero creo que a partir de ese momento he tenido el privilegio de entender, o de tratar de entender y reflejar, algunas aspectos del más completo de los géneros
