Most of you have heard this song. You know, Where Have All the Cowboys Gone is the name of a song by Paula Cole.
Basically, it´s about a woman who for all her life dreamed of being a cowboy’s wife. One day she does indeed marry one of these “cowboys”. But over the years she discovers her dream man doesn’t live up to her expectations, and finds herself an unhappy housewife, asking to the heavens where all the cowboys went.
Here I tried to put the song into another context, another culture; perhaps, closer to the universe that surrounds me everyday. Cause I think the essence of this song perfectly fits everywhere, all the time.
