Hotel Room

I was deeply impressed the first time I read “Hotel Room by Linaji
Next days I surprised myself reading it repeatedly. Then, suddenly, I discovered it worked as a movie script for me. You can see a whole breathtaking and emotional story behind it. So I decided to try to create a single image depicting this story. I know there´ll be thousand ways to reflect the same thoughts and feelings. This was mine.
All I can add is to thank Linaji for being here with all of us.

Hotel Room

I have cast images of myself
In this old hotel.
I have squandered my flesh
In dreams unrealized and fates
Never before allowed,

Here in this place of groveling for substance
I see a dark horse and a man who rides
He is clean and well mannered like a batman
Out of his cave,
Venturing for all the good of a life
Bouts enslave

Dark hotel curtains keeping out the false
Light of others.
Here inside I ask myself to turn over and
Over again
So I can feel the sheets of my whimpering
I can feel the bedposts that deliver a truce

And inside this place all manner of subjects
Are embraced
Are explored
And are loved too.
Like a nerve’s beginning and ending all at
Once,
I fly with a secret of longing to touch all of me
To kiss my wounds that have festered in the
Hollow light of day.

And I sleep in a waking sense of deliverance
That my mind will allow this to become
Just a garden of joy,
Just a way to be known
Here in this dark hotel I call my own.
