…with big thanks to dave murphy for the local info and general heads up…with the southerly blast and snow on the way and the end of the road trip being nigh…i headed to the breathtaking little seaside village of stanley, on the beautiful northwest coast of tasmania….and dropped anchor on the commodore wagon for a few days and nights. we had the most astounding skies, the day after the main stormfront that dumped snow on the highlands…and all day produced the most amazing skyscapes, and tasmania – of course – produced the the perfect scenery…the best way to show this was in black and white, straight off the camera, as is, all natural – just like tassie…

…light plays with form,
in the matrix of mystery,
exploring the interplay,
as it happens – wherever I am…

that’s it – peace | love

Excellent. The sky looms as it should, and the angle of light with the angle of the roof are perfect.

  • thank you Sir Mike, a most wild and windblown day, but all worth it to get this….waiting, waiting, waiting….

  • ps – this is 150m up on a windswept peninsula, an amazing half day spent in (and out of) the elements…
