i’d seen the images from traveller and shelley warbrooke, and was inspired, even as the clouds came over, what a truly perfect piece of tasmania – nirvana…

…for those that are interested in technicalities – BMail me – or……it’s a good 20-30mins over forestry (i.e. gravel) roads – no rules. or, direct from mathinna (sealed roads) it’s 2km to turn off, and 15-20mins forestry roads, and beware after rain !!! OR via fingal and evercreech (the most direct route) 35-45mins some sealed, but, mostly forestry / gravel. nb. IN SOME PLACES, after rain, it would be impassable without a four wheel drive !!! as such the last turnoff to mathinna falls would be challenging in a 4WD after/during heavy rain, much less a 2WD, pls be aware of this before heading in there……
