    Fantastic capture!

  • thanks Fetc. it was pretty spectacular, still researching, bit it looked like either the building (along with mama nature) created the circle, or split the circle. amazing how people were just oblivious to it…

Wow, you don’t see them that often -but then having the camera at hand and that angle! Well captured!
Fascinating atmospheric phenomen that the colours on the outer rainbow go in the opposite direction. And that the inner grey area is so much lighter. Kasia

  • thanks Kasia. i think the reflection off the glass of the building did some crazy stuff. it was a full circle, split by the angle of the structure.

Tim, it is not because of the glass. The colours really go in opposite directions with the so-called Alexander Band in between.

  • wow. thanks Kasia. doubles just sink me to my knees everytime ….kia ora

Amazing shot…surreal! What a great piece of wall art this makes.

  • thanks Victoria, it was amazing to walk around a corner, and first see the reflection of the rainbows in the glass, and then take another step and they were in front of me. yes,
very surreal, because of the angle of the arcs it just didn’t look real.
