    Oh, so this isn’t Uptown :) If I’m understanding the numbers correctly in your description, this was captured in 1973? Fascinating perspective and Manhattan street scene, Tim!

  • not sure deb, i looked back at images either side, but i was there a month, and still got lost, daily, a friend explained the up, down, mid town thing, but i really don’t know :-) shot in 2009. thanks…

    haha! it gets a bit confusing at times :) no worries. i’ve been to manhattan many times, and lived there a short while, and still don’t know it really well. sorry i misunderstood those numbers :) but, this midtown scene is very interesting (at least to me). there are several taxi rules re: only bus lane along madison avenue. well captured!
