….this is not a set up shot !
i was fortunately shooting with an official pass, so, i was sitting on some steps below His Holiness…..for the hour before, i had been shooting, and, watching his reaction as i got closer…some dancers had begun performing in the area in front of me, so i just sat quietly and nondescriptly at the base of the steps below where the guests were seated….

    This is absolutely going into my faves!!! His face glows with peaceful contentment. He is young, but his eyes show wisdom beyond his years. I have studied Buddhism a great deal and find it fascinating!!! Wonderful capture!!!
