…my first visit to this stunning peninsula, and only had ONE sunrise over a CLEAR horizon, so fortunate to see this AT ALL, it is a rare erosional rock formation that form in flat sedimentary rock…well worth the visit, with easy access down a formed path and steps to the pavement itself…this is, as is, straight off the camera, 100% organic, no additives, photoshop, toning, hdr, or stacking…just how i like it…silly o’clock in the morning…

…light plays with form,
in the matrix of mystery,
exploring the interplay,
as it happens – wherever I am…

that’s it – peace | love

  • thanks Anthony, a pleasure to be featured here…my first visit to the tesselated pavement, and surrounding tasman peninsula – a wild, old, aged place indeed – and to get this straight off the camera, during the only visible sunrise of five days, was such a joy….

    Wonderful low light capture Tim!

  • thanks p4, as it was straight off the camera, i was gettin frustrated with the darkness – then it all lit up very quickly, and I had to move twice, as the light moves pretty quick this time of year here, it’s all experimentation, all the time, the thing i love so much about light and photography, I only had one chance to photograph this WITH LIGHT, the other days were all clouded horizons….and foregrounds…cheers, tim
