The shorebirds have been migrating back south recently, so it is time for me to stop at local lakes and rivers and try to find them. This little peep was feeding at one of the regular haunts that I check out. They are usually relatively tame, so for this guy I just sat down in front of the direction he was feeding and caught him as he was walking by. I really liked how this one turned out and hope you enjoy as well. :)
The scientific name for this species is: Calidris pusilla.
