Reticulated Pythons can grow over 28.5 feet in length and are the world’s largest snake.

This is a captive one at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse NY.

    Nice detail on this beautiful snake Bob. I like the different colour you picked up on it’s skin. Did you take this through glass? I never have luck through glass.

  • Thanks Barb! I did take this through glass and I have gotten some really good shots through glass and some so/so ones. Also, I found the closer you have the lens to the glass the better it is to focus beyond the dirty spots and glare. Sometimes I put my lens right up against the glass for this reason.

    Wow… such a great detailed capture of this python! I read what you wrote to Barb on taking pictures through the glass, I’ll have to remember that.
