  • Tim Wright replied

Thanks. My brother is one of the few pepole I know who rode a snowboard for years and switched to skis. I joke with him he’s having trouble with the transition so he now has to ride two boards at once. (this was in Febuary, we’re open but not this open)

It was one of our favorite places to ski. About an hour hike to this point (all up a mountain) and worth every step. I live in the “flatlands” now and miss it deeply. I look forward to visiting my brother soon.

I only had to get to 37 of 305 before knowing where my vote for the ‘favorite destination’ challenge would land! This is truly breath-taking, and speaks deeply to my Montanan heart! : ) I’m living in PA now, but planning to move back in a few years. How I miss the grandeur of the high country! This is well-captured…not only the awe-inspiring scenery, but I also feel the exhaustion, elation, and adrenaline rush of your climb. A tremendous photo!

  • Tim Wright replied

I know how you feel. I live in Nebraska now and feel a world away.
