Beaches
I walked along the beach today, my feet washed by the tide,
the morning sun was bright, but a cold wind its heat did hide.
I know I should be somewhere else, but I had to see the sea,
now back home with shells and rocks, my life, so much debris.

Why thank you was a strange day the light suddenly dipped and its an East coast so the land had shadowed the shore while the sky was still blue. The water takes on a gleam like mercury.
