    The first word that came to mind when I first saw this was Majestic, this was closely followed by a lot of other words… There are two elements that I really like in this. The first is how you have framed the shot, and as I have seen in much of your work this is a quality in your photography that sets you apart from ‘the crowd’. The second element is how you have used the available lighting. The back light produced in the sky really defines the shape, whilst the incident light highlights the detail in the rock formation and draws the viewer in. Well done Bob, another excellent capture :)

Framing and light pretty much rule my world throughout the day, whether it’s the fluorescent light bouncing off a canned ham at the store or the sunlight off a cliff.
