While I have many Nemeisises, Nemesisi, Nemalemadingdongs, Neme…okay, I don’t really know the plural of Nemesis. While I have many foes, that works, including various lizards, all dragonflies, pimento loaf, and people who say “needless to say” and then go ahead and say it(okay, those people don’t really qualify as Nemes…foes, but that saying just sticks in my craw, which, coincidentally is another saying that bothers me. I took anatomy in school and never once was a “craw” identified as a valid body part, although it may have been and I wasn’t paying attention because I took anatomy for the pictures of naked women and my mind would turn off when they got to the parts where there was no skin, just veins and artery’s, about as exciting as pimento loaf ). Anyway, this bird likes a lot of the places I like to shoot, but he seems to know when I’ve finally achieved focus and in the 2 seconds between timer push and click, he’s off to the air, or decides it’s finally time to clean his under carriage! I’ve followed him for hours, and he does it every time. I shot about 27 pictures of him today, and this is the only one remotely in focus.
