Zen Rock

Bob Larson

Prescott, United States

Artist's Description

As I focused on this rock, I felt a peace come over me, a tranquility, a grace if you will. I was at one with myself and the world around me. I was calm, I was free, I was without distraction for the first time in a very long journey. Then I heard a drunk teenager yell, “Guys, I think I just pissed on that lady’s dog!” Then I turned to look and found that it was a drunken middle age guy. The zen rock taught me a lesson about judging others that day, never judge a drunken teenager without first making sure it’s not a friend of yours. Oh, and never pee on someone elses dog! Not that it’s okay to pee on your own dog either, but that’s more me talking than the rock(the actual rock and not the wrestler who thinks he can act).
